Abstract

This paper reports on the history and progress of Voices of Newfoundland and Labrador, a website that will build and expand upon work initiated by affiliates of the English Language Research Centre in 1999. Voices is intended as a sibling site to the online Dialect Atlas of Newfoundland and Labrador (www.dialectatlas.mun.ca), launched in 2013 to much public and scholarly acclaim.
