Susan Knight, Roehampton Institute London
SUSAN KNIGHT is the founder and Conductor of the Newfoundland Symphony Youth Choir. In addition to a Master of Arts in Music Education, she has a specialist diploma in Orff-Schulwerk, and is a registered nurse. She is currently engaged in doctoral study at the Roehampton Institute, University of Surrey. She has been a classroom and choral specialist in St. John's for the past sixteen years, and has been a sessional Lecturer at Memorial University and the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. Active as an adjudicator and clinician, she has also served in various executive positions with provincial and national music and education organizations. Having proposed and initiated Festival 500, she is a member of its artistic team.
