Caroline Schiller, Memorial University of Newfoundland
CAROLINE SCHILLER is a Professor of Voice and Director of Opera at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. She has recently received the Doctor of Music degree in Performance from Florida State University. She has a M.Mus. degree from New England Conservatory with a concentration in opera, and a B.Mus. degree from Mount Allison University in Canada. Caroline has appeared in opera and musical theatre, including her performance in the role of Christine in the original Toronto cast of Phantom of the Opera. Her concert work includes performances with the Boston Symphony Chamber Players and the Montreal Symphony. She has participated in the creation and performance of contemporary theatre works at the Banff Centre and the Dartington International Summer School, and was a vocal fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center. She is a former winner of the International Young Singer of the Year Award.
