Malcolm V. Edwards, University of Calgary

MALCOLM EDWARDS was born in Halifax, England, and emigrated to Canada in 1967. He is a graduate of Trinity College of Music, London, the University of Lethbridge, the University of Montana and has done further graduate work at the University of Northern Colorado. Malcolm taught music in junior and senior high school in Southern Alberta for a number of years before moving to Calgary in 1980. He is a Professor of Music at the University of Calgary where he directs the University Chorus and is Head of the Department. He has held leadership positions with the Alberta Choral Federation, the Association of Canadian Choral Conductors, and is active as a choral adjudicator and workshop leader in schools and churches. His choral compositions are published by Gordon V. Thompson of Toronto and Hinshaw Music.
