Vol. 4 (2004): Functional Interpretation
Bernard Lonergan's initial definition of a collaborative division of labour focused on theology. (“Functional Specialties in Theology,” Gregorianum 50, no. 3 [1969], 485–505.) That restriction of the division of labour has been lifted in various ways in the past fifty years and continues to be lifted. The essays in this volume focus on interpretation and represent a start towards a broadened integrated perspective.
