Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • The submission file is in PDF format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

Author Guidelines

Research and Case Study submissions will utilize the PROTO-TYPE writing template provided on the home page and linked here: template-0.doc

Other submission such as design work and term projects may follow other formats as may be prescribed by the section (course) instructor.

Coastal and Ocean Engineering (ENGI.8751)

Students in ENGI 8751 will submit a well-researched, critically-reviewed case study in the subject of coastal and ocean engineering technology - utilizing typical IEEE conference paper formatting for the submission. An award for the paper that is deemed to be of the highest quality, relevence and impact is given to the student in the form of recognition on an engraved trophy housed in the Civil Engineering classroom EN2050 at Memorial.

Senior Civil Project

This is the senior civil design project course - the capstone design exercise in undergradtuate program. Project reports are detailed and often involve many drawings. This provides the long term archiving of these works. This is how we can accommodate multiple courses within the framework of a single journal. Each section will have its own header within a common table of contents.
