About the Journal
Lithos is the Memorial University Medical Journal, a student-run biannual peer-reviewed publication operating under the guidance of a distinguished advisory board within our Faculty of Medicine. The journal, akin to our institution, features a variety of disciplines relevant to the field of medicine including clinical research, biomedical science, community health and humanities, and medical education among others. The primary goal of the journal is to increase participation in research, writing and editing while promoting student scholarly works.
The journal primarily focuses on publishing the work of students and residents at Memorial University; however, submissions are considered from members of all allied health disciplines with preference given to student authors. Consideration is also given to submissions from individuals based at other institutions outside of Memorial University. We encourage you to view our website and consider submitting your scholarly works via our online submissions system.
