Jennifer Lokash earned her PhD in English Literature from McGill University in 2001with a focus on British Romanticism, health, and environment. Before returning to academia in 2004, she worked in the publishing industry and as a freelance editor. Jennifer is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John’s, where she teaches Romanticism, the Gothic, and Critical Theory, and where she lives, quite literally, at the edge of it all.
