In this paper, I address the issue of genetic discrimination as a result of the advancements of genetic technologies. I demonstrate how genetic discrimination occurs and stress the importance of preventative laws. Canadian law has lagged behind the legal systems of other countries in adapting to the advancement of technologies. Thus, I offer a comprehensive package which can be utilized to prevent genetic discrimination in Canada.
